Like the title of this topic says: before posting your review of a product/book/site/blog/guru or otherwise, read these guidelines first!1) Tell us: what was the impact it had on you personally? Did it make you laugh/cry/think about yourself? Did it leave a good/bad impression? And by all means: don't read something you haven't even read/heard/seen
Consequences if you DON'T: major ball busting... prepare to be teased by me, maybe even for life!
2) Tell us: everything has strengths and weakness, be sure to share BOTH the good and the bad. And tell us WHY. I explicitly say this, because people who want to promote their own product/site/blog etc. or that of a friend tend to "forget" about the bad stuff. And hey... you can be real negative about someone/something, but only if you tell us WHY. Just hating on guru XYZ "because he sucks" will get you a warning. Tell us why!
Consequences if you DON'T: I will delete your review without further notice.
3) Don't promote your own product/site/blog etc. or that of a friend here. This isn't a marketplace and definitely NOT a place for biased reviews that are based on potential profits instead of facts. That means (not too muuch) kissing ass, no images, no affiliate links, etc. If you must place a link, place only 1 link to the main site behind the product/book/guru. Example of the main site for the Online Mentorship Program:
www.win-with-women.com NOT win-with-women.com/salespagecraphere or something like that.
Consequences if you DON'T: I will warn you to edit your review and if you don't? I will ban you from the forum. I want the reviews to be as objective as possible, to educate the readers about reading/seeing/hearing it themselves... instead of selling them on it.
4) When posting your review, use the title of the product/book/site etc. in the title of your topic and AT LEAST tell us the 5 W's (who, what, when, where, why) next to what you loved and hated about it.
Consequences if you DON'T: I will delete your review without further notice.
5) What can you review? As long as it's dating- or self help-related? You can review gurus, sites, blogs, products, books, podcasts, programs, even the top 10 pick up artists of this year for all I care!
Having said that, there's one more thing: have fun!
This caffein guzzler is gone to slurp away another coffee or two. I should seriously stop the coffee addiction, way too pumped up right now!
